In the Saint-Martin district
On boulevard Saint-Martin, overlooking the historic Porte Saint Martin this apartment is at the northern limit of the famous Marais area.
This is the “theatreland” of Paris, and just on the other side of the boulevard are two well-known theatres “la Renaissance” et “le Saint-Martin” (where “Cyrano de Bergerac” was first produced).
The district has a wealth of local shops and restaurants with some great bakers, a market-hall and several convenience stores. Just a short walk from here is the “Enfants Rouges” street market.
The view from the flat
The Pompidou Centre, and the Place de la République are just 10 mn away on foot. For the Opera, the Picasso Museum and the Place des Vosges allow 18 or 19 minutes. And for Notre-Dame, the Place de la Bastille, the Seine and the Louvre, its a walk of about 20 to 25 minutes.
How to reach the apartment?
The Métro hub station, Strasbourg Saint-Denis, is just 50 meters from the entrance of our building, with three other stations—Réaumur, Sébastopol, Arts et Métiers, and République—also nearby.
Access is simple from all major railway stations via the metro, and from both Orly and Roissy Charles de Gaulle airports via the RER trains to Gare du Nord or Châtelet, followed by a short metro ride to Strasbourg Saint-Denis.
